The Daily Haiku from Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem's Haiku Prompt: Castle

spiral-staired towers
crenelated walls, dungeons
make castles and men

castle medieval
stone cold and swamp damp within
we are safely kept

neurotics' sky-castles
wherein dwell psychotics
while shrinks collect rent

blue-backed playing cards
all holding each other up
don't bump the table!

where once was glory
now a skeleton of stones
haunting a low hill

  1. Nice variety of castle views.

You have a sense of irony.

    Cheers!
